A grid of fine lines runs across the entire ring band, each one etched by hand. The pattern takes several hours, because every crossing has to land cleanly and no line can be taken back. Two copper magnets are set flush into the metal, one on each side, so the surface stays completely even. Afterwards the edges are softened and the inside is polished bright, so the ring stays comfortable when you grip something.
Why you'll love it:
Material: 99.9% pure copper with 2 embedded magnets. The patina develops on its own; a dry cloth is all the care it needs.
Note: This piece contains embedded magnets. If you wear a pacemaker, defibrillator or other implanted medical device, please check with your doctor first.
Pure copper is not magnetic. Most copper jewelry sold online is either plated (a thin layer of copper over a cheaper metal such as steel or brass) or alloyed with enough iron or nickel to make it feel magnetic—this is the quickest way to spot a fake.
The test is very simple:
Every piece I make is 99.9% pure copper—never plated, never alloyed with cheap metals. Perform the test on your jewelry as soon as it arrives. If it does not pass the test, I will immediately refund the purchase price.

From Egyptian queens and Roman soldiers to Ayurvedic healers – copper has been worn on the skin for over 3,000 years, long before modern pharmacies existed.
Light enough to forget you're wearing them, yet still noticeable. Our bangles are designed to be worn every day – in the shower, in the garden, or even while sleeping – without having to take them off constantly.
Real copper changes with you. Over time, your bracelet develops a patina as unique as your skin – a personal trace of all the days you have worn it. In the end, no two bracelets look exactly alike.
Two per day. 99.9% pure copper – crafted by the same traditional artisan over many years. No machines. No coatings.

BRITISH CRAFTSMANSHIP & VITALITY • UPDATED DAILY
The Forgotten Story Behind Britain's Copper
Copper has been dug from the ground in Britain since the Bronze Age. On Anglesey, miners worked Parys Mountain for thousands of years, and in the 1780s it was the largest copper mine in Europe. In Cornwall, women and girls, known as bal maidens, worked the surface of the mines, breaking and sorting ore with heavy hammers.
That work was hard, and it mattered. Many of these women earned their own wages at a time when few women could. Their story is part of the same metal that ends up in the pieces we make today.
Ruth Pascoe hand-hammers every piece of Cupria jewellery from solid, uncoated copper. Each one is a little different, and the marks of the hammer are still visible. You can check it yourself: copper is heavier than brass, a cut shows the metal is the same all the way through, and a magnet will tell you there is no steel inside.
"Life is not about chasing after old age, but about feeling strong in every year of life. The traditional knowledge of our homeland has helped me preserve my independence and joy in movement to this day."
Most likely, because what you wore before wasn't solid copper.
Most copper jewelry sold online is copper-plated—a thin coating over a base metal, which means your skin has almost no contact with real copper.
Every piece in our collection is made entirely of 100% pure copper. No plating, no base metal, no coating. The difference between solid copper and copper-plated jewelry on the skin is significant, and most people notice it.
Another factor is durability—pure copper is designed to be worn every day, not just occasionally. Wear it every day for a month before you decide.

I have been asked this question for 40 years. And here is what I know about it:
Copper is an essential mineral that the human body actually needs, and wearing copper on the skin is a practice that existed thousands of years before modern medicine.
I have never made promises to anyone. What I can tell you is that people who came to me at the ages of 55, 60, or 65 keep coming back—year after year, decade after decade—without me ever having to explain why.
Whether you call it a placebo or not: The people who wear my copper have noticed something that they want to continue noticing. That is all I ever needed to know.
Formal clinical studies have yielded mixed results, and I won't pretend otherwise.
What I do want to say, however, is this: copper has been worn directly on the skin for over 3,000 years in practically every civilization on Earth. Roman soldiers. Ayurvedic healers. Native American artisans. Generations of women who passed it down to their daughters, who in turn passed it down to theirs.
They didn't conduct double-blind studies. They simply wore what their grandmothers had worn.
My customers aren't scientists either—they're just people who have tried everything else first.
Yes, you can.
Pure copper is naturally resilient – for centuries it has been worn by fishermen, farmers, and workers in all kinds of weather and water.
However, there are a few things you should know:
If you want to preserve the original shine, rinse the jewelry with fresh water after swimming and pat it dry. Otherwise – wear it with complete confidence. It is made to be worn, not tucked away.
Copper is a base metal, yes.
What you are buying here is 100% pure material, crafted by hand piece by piece – and a standard we have never compromised on.
We have maintained full control over every single piece in this collection because we refused to cut corners for the sake of volume. No mass production. No plating. No coatings.
Each piece is shaped, engraved, and finished by hand. Once these pieces are sold out, there will be no more.
You can buy a copper-plated bracelet anywhere for a few dollars. This is something else entirely.
Yes. Full refund, no ifs, ands, or buts.
If an item doesn't work out for you for any reason—whether it doesn't fit, doesn't meet your expectations, or you simply change your mind—just send it back, and I'll refund you the full purchase price.
I've spent 40 years building trust with people I've never met. I'm not going to change that with my final collection.
